Dr. Zha is an expert on Chinese energy policies, and concentrates his research in the areas of energy politics, energy diplomacy, and non-traditional security issues in Asia. He has lectured widely overseas and consults for the Chinese government on energy and foreign policy for the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
