While at Beijing University of Physical Education (BUPE), Professor Hao spent two years as a Chinese roommate of US students getting to know US undergraduates and American customs. He has made major contributions in the field of Chinese martial arts (wushu) including publishing several articles and developing new, systematic ways of teaching wushu. He was named one of the “Outstanding Youths of the Century” by Macau TV. He is currently finishing his doctoral work.
