What better way to practice your Chinese than by getting off campus? Beijing, while your home away home, also serves as your largest, and most challenging, classroom. Hop on a bus with your tutor and head to a local market, chat with friendly families living in Beijing’s oldest neighborhoods, the Hutongs, or wander around the 9,999 rooms in the Forbidden City. Test your knowledge and skills of material learned in class and experience and understand what it is to live in Beijing.

Several times throughout the program group field trips will be organized by The Beijing Center. These trips are designed to allow you to interact with Chinese people, practice what you have learned, experience Chinese culture, and most importantly, to have fun!
