ChinaVoice is an eight week summer Mandarin program. During the week you will have three and half hour classes every morning. In addition, you will have a supplementary class one afternoon a week focused on reviewing and practicing exercises. Four different course levels are offered: Intensive Elementary, Intensive Intermediate, Intensive Advanced and Advanced Conversational.
Please see the chart to the right for course syllabi and textbook excerpts. You will be required to indicate during the application process which level of Mandarin you believe you are best suited to study. However, language placement tests held during orientation will determine which class you will be attending. It is strongly recommended that you read the textbooks before you decide your level.
