Dr. Hong is an associate professor at the School of International Trade and Economics, UIBE and a research fellow at the Research Center of Logistics, Nankai University. He is also the executive editor of the Journal of Chinese Economics and Foreign Trade Studies. Prior to coming to UIBE, Dr. Hong obtained his Ph.D. in economics from the National University of Singapore.

Dr. Xu received his Ph.D. from Simon Fraser University. His field of study is the empirical finance and the international trade. Recently, his main research interest is to model the behavior of bounded rationality investors in financial markets, and does experimental tests on financial theories. His research is mainly focused on the balance of China's international trade.
