She has appeared on Chinese television in profile and as a guest speaker. Her further education in Chinese medicine includes many elements of qigong and acupuncture, as well as Daoist meditation techniques, neijing and clinical practice.

Loomis, Kathryn

Professor Loomis worked as an acupuncturist and herbologist at the Beijing Chinese Medical University and conducted Chinese herbal clinical studies there. In the US she is National Board Certified in acupuncture and National Board Certified in Chinese herbology. Professor Loomis also spent three years at the Mandarin Training Center at the Taiwan Normal University.

Reising, Adele

Professor Reising is currently serving as department chair of herbal medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York. In addition, she has a private clinic practice in Manhattan. Her clinical experience includes gynecology, dermatology and stroke at the Xi Yuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing. She is NCCAOM Nationally Board Certified for Traditional Chinese Herbs and Acupuncture.

Ryan, Paul

Professor Ryan is the student of several masters and works with acupuncture, orthopedic manipulations, herbs and Yi Quan (mind-fist, a meditative martial art) in his private practice. In the dialogue between East and West, he served as the cross-cultural liaison and project director in China for the "Qi Project" with Harvard University from 1998-2001. Professor Ryan is an NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine.
